I'm from the US. The US has never been safe fundamentally. Swastikas on our synagogue growing up in the 90s. Holocaust denial literature sent to our public school. No mass shootings then, we lived in a safer country overall in many ways. How could we predict we'd be blamed for immigration. For replacing whites. This is almost straight out of Russian pogroms. Antisemitism looks the same all around the world. Why Jews fled to Israel from MENA countries and Somalia. From all across Europe. There was nowhere to go! The US didn't accept unlimited immigrants, no country did. Maybe Britain should have worked to resettle Jews elsewhere but thats a bit late. Honestly this world is so completely broken and pained, if Israel and Palestine can find some justice and peace it would be hope for everyone. But extremism is raging everywhere. Fear breeds fascism, fascism breeds extremism, extremism breeds violence, breeds fear, etc.
